Great post Mike and great memories for you!
They used to practise in the back of Macs Cafe next door to the Flint Cottage pub. Amps on rubber mats no less. I think Jimmy Macs mum ran the cafe. The last time I saw them live was as support band to Rufus Thomas, Walking the Dog and all that a thet Dunstable Ball Room. I forget the name of the Ball Room. Or maybe the bands line up was then the UKs. Not sure.

Great memories you have there then Mike.
I last saw the Beatfinders in Dunstable Ball Rom supporting Rufus Thomas; Walking the Dog and all that stuff. Not sure of the line up then, they could have been playing as the The UKs.
